GOST-R is required in customs and domestic market in the Russian Federation. It is the quality certificate indicating the compliance of products with the Russian Standards. It is also accepted in such countries as Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. Companies that want to trade with these countries need the GOST-R Certificate.
